Interests

I have lived in Utah nearly all of my life, calling St. George “home” since 2003. I am a father first, with four children (2 boy and 2 girls) and find that nothing in this life creates more joy and learning than being their dad. I am an active musician, performing regularly as a solo artist and occasionally with a band. Singing, playing guitar, writing, and recording music provides balance and excitement that keeps me sane. I love bringing music into my work with young students. When I’m not being a dad or performing, I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, all things “Batman”, watching sporting events, live music, and investing in and growing my social support network.
