Professional Training

Diamond Ranch Academy recognizes the need for quality employees to supervise and develop healthy young men and women. A governing value within our organization is professional business which states "recruit, hire, and effectively train outstanding staff". With this goal in mind, DRA provides extensive professional development training for all employees.

Diamond Ranch Academy University is a comprehensive two week course that specifically addresses program philosophy and mission, governing values, employee code of conduct, policies and procedures, etc. Furthermore, the course provides certification training in Positive Control Systems (PCS) and First Aid/CPR by certified instructors.

DRA-U follows a curriculum of skills, assignments, and tests, and requires maximum participation in each area. Diamond Ranch Academy University is exclusive to our organization, and has proven to be a very effective tool for the training and development of both new and existing employees alike.

Graduation requirements include:

• Successful completion of required exams at 95% or above.
• Successful completion of written assignments and skills.
• Classroom participation of 40 hours minimum.
• Successful completion of required "Education Experience".

Upon successful completion of Diamond Ranch Academy University, employees are able to demonstrate proficiency, knowledge, and understanding of requirements for employment.
