REVIEW AND
ACCEPTANCE
First, we work together to determine whether or not Diamond Ranch Academy is a good fit for your son or daughter. We are very selective in the students we admit to our school in order to ensure they have a great experience, as well as the best likelihood for success after returning home or going on to college.

We only accept students we strongly believe we can help. If your child's needs are beyond our scope of expertise, we will refer you to the appropriate professionals. Please feel free to contact us anytime as you go through the website or as you complete the application - we're here to help.

Diamond Ranch Academy isn't for everyone; not everyone who applies is accepted. We only accept students we strongly believe we can help.

I moved here to Southern Utah in 2005 from Orlando Florida to work at Diamond Ranch Academy. I grew up wakeboarding and surfing and love the water! I have always enjoyed sports and most recently have started to road bike. I had the opportunity to live in Poland for two years as a missionary. Becoming familiar with a different culture, and serving the Polish people for two years had a tremendous impact on my life. I have two sons that are both studs and two daughters that are princesses and I love spending time with them! I have an incredible wife to whom I love with all my heart. We enjoy spending time together as a family!
    COMMENTS ON DRA
I love Diamond Ranch Academy. The longer I am in this industry, the more impressed I become with Diamond Ranch Academy. The people that work at Diamond Ranch Academy are people that I want my sons and daughers to be surrounded by and learn from. The trademarked Real-Life Transition Program used at Diamond Ranch Academy is a program that I want my sons and daughters to experience. Even as an employee, Diamond Ranch Academy has changed my life. I am grateful to be a part of the Diamond Ranch Academy team!

Ever since I was a child, I had a great desire to be challenged. Being apart of a sports that tests you, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well, have taught me how to be a leader and to never give up when pursuing your goals and dreams. The sports I chose to compete in were Swimming and Wrestling and was blessed by my efforts. After High School, I decided to branch out from strictly wrestling and competed in Mixed Martial Arts competitions placing at the National level. Physical Fitness in general is a large part of my life. When I was twelve years old, the only thing I asked for on my birthday was a gym membership to 24 Hour Fitness. Since that time, lifting weights has become so important to me. I also have a passion for Education. I love to learn. My favorite topic of study is Religious Education. I love studying different religious material and coming to know my Higher Power. Now that I have a family of my own, it has become ever more important to me to set an example of hard work and dedication to good causes.
    COMMENTS ON DRA
When considering my employment to DRA, I had two different choices. One was becoming a tour guide for an Alaskan Resort and the other to come to Southern Utah to work at a Youth Residential Treatment Center (DRA). After considering both options, I chose to work at Diamond Ranch Academy and am forever grateful for the choice I was led to make. Upon coming to DRA, I thought I had life figured out. After working at DRA for a month, I realized I had a lot to learn about life in general and specifically how I was going to make my mark on the World. I realized being apart of DRA helps me reach my ultimate goal of making my mark of positive influence on the world. Being Part of a team that works together in striving to teach correct principles and set positive examples for the youth that come to DRA has been a great blessing in my life. Each individual that leaves DRA has the opportunity to take what they were taught here and make their own personal mark on the world. To be apart of something that big is beautiful and I love it!

Being born and raised in Alaska, I opted to attend college in California where I met my wonderful wife. Finding a place to start our family, we always kept coming back to Alaska. After spending our first sixteen years of our marriage in Alaska, we decided to move the family to some place that didn't snow. Our searches found the wonderful city of St George, UT where we have spent the last 4 years. Our three children have amerced themselves into sports and our oldest has started to attend college at Dixie State. We spend most of our off time going to soccer and football events with our two youngest boys.
    COMMENTS ON DRA
Diamond Ranch Academy is an amazing place. I have worked in many different environments in my career, but none of them have been as rewarding as working with DRA. Working with the students on a daily basis and watching them grow into productive, responsible young men; has shown to be the biggest reward. The Directors of DRA have done an amazing job in enlisting the staff that want to work with students to make a difference in their lives. I truly enjoy the environment that they have created and I am grateful to be a member of this team.

    COMMENTS ON DRA
Diamond Ranch Academy is so special to me. I have worked on and off here for 10 years. There is no other place I would rather work. I have developed relationships and bonds that I’ll have the rest of my life. To be able to see these students come in lost and struggling and see them learn and grow and get that light back in their eyes is the greatest thing ever. Not only do they learn and develop the tools they need to be successful in life; they also mend those relationships with their families and there is no greater joy then to see families heal together. Not only do I get to see families heal and come back together again, Diamond Ranch also helps me as a mother to my four beautiful children. I feel like I learn so much from working in such a great environment with the best colleagues around. I truly feel blessed to be a part of such a great organization.
